The Wicked Sugar Cake Studio began its existence in 1978.  In my Mom's small kitchen in a house filled with daughters, I was taken in by sugar.  I made my first wedding cake that year and it took me three weeks!!  I've spent years teaching myself first from Wilton Yearbooks and periodicals and then a whole lot of trial an error.  With the advent of the internet, my skill grows each day.  My Mom loved to bake and so do I.  I have been able to take classes and have competed twice at the National Capital Area Cake Show (2014 and 2016).  I'm also Sugar Angel for IcingSmiles.

In addition to being a sugar artist, I hold two part-time jobs in Public Finance, one an elected position currently in my 25th year.

I'm a Mom to a beautiful daughter, Nanny to six, Sister, Auntie, wife and homemaker.  I'm also an avid crafter, seamstress and costumer and I love to garden both food and pretty things.  I also love music, especially live.

I take great pride in all that I do and each piece I create whether it's cake or craft, is made for someone and I care very deeply that the recipient it happy!!
